American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring at least one year of RN experience and current BLS and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital setting
- Care for pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions and a range of health complexities
- 12-hour day shifts, three days per week
- No local candidates permitted within a 50-mile radius
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients, including medication administration and monitoring intravenous infusions
- Document patient responses to interventions and assist with physician exams and minor procedures
- Communicate care plans effectively with patients and families and coordinate discharge information
- Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
- Must be able to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Active RN license in Oklahoma or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year of RN experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required; BSN or higher from a board-approved program preferred
