Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a day-shift outpatient position with experience in both pediatric and adult neurodevelopmental treatments.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient occupational therapy setting
- Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Caseload includes adults and pediatrics with autism, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental conditions
- Skills needed include cognitive assessment, electrical stimulation, kinesiotaping, splinting, home exercise programs, lifting and transfers, patient and family education, and safety and injury prevention
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Candidates must reside at least 70 miles from the facility
- Two professional references from supervisors within the past two years are required for consideration
Requirements
- State OT license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience in adult and pediatric outpatient settings
- Experience with neurodevelopmental treatments required
- Comfortable conducting pediatric evaluations and adult neuro cases
