Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment in West Portland, OR, requiring at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
- Patient visits are 1:1, with up to 6 patients per day and a 30 productivity points standard
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating between like units required, but all travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
- Uses EPIC Remote Client and Rover (phone app) for home health documentation and Oasis for charting
- Candidates must have reliable transportation; typical daily maximum driving radius is 60 miles (up to 90 minutes of drive time)
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Business casual attire is expected; scrubs are also allowed but no jeans
- Orientation modules must be completed prior to start and require an average of 16 hours
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be placed within 50 miles of their former facility
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is preferred; RTO must be confirmed with hiring manager
- Free parking available on site
- All required immunizations and documentation must be up to date for consideration
Requirements
- Current PT license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health physical therapy experience
- Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
- Oasis experience is required
- Experience with Epic EMR is required
- Must provide at least two supervisory references covering one year of recent employment in a comparable setting
- Willingness to float between facilities within the state if needed
