Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications for a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Day shift position with four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend call approximately every third weekend and 1-2 weekday call shifts per week
• Role is based in a hospital cardiac cath lab
• Mandatory floating within the site and across the health system as needed
• Travelers may be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period due to low census
• Main responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Expect to float between units and locations as assigned
• Pre-start modules and skills testing are required before start of assignment
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding
• Return staff must have a minimum 1-year separation before being eligible for rehire
• No RTO (requested time off) is permitted within the first two weeks and a maximum of 7 days RTO during the contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Oregon State License or proof of application/fingerprints required if applicable
• Must provide at least one recent reference from a Charge, Supervisor, or Manager
• No felony background allowed
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any facility in the health system
• Must complete all required education and assigned modules within one week of assignment start
