Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a dedicated professional who possesses the skills necessary to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 (depending on acuity)
- Number of Beds: 16 beds
- Scrub Color: Navy
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours weekly
- Minimum of 1-year ICU experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
The Travel ICU RN will be responsible for:
- Continuous monitoring of hemodynamics, vital signs, ECG, and neuro status.
- Responding to ACLS protocols and code blue situations.
- Management of control lines, arterial lines, and titratable drips.
- Safe handling of high-alert medications.
- Strict adherence to protocols (RASS, CAM-ICU, CIWA).
- Daily line/device assessment and maintenance (in prevention of CLABSI/CAUTI).
- Utilizing the EMR system (Cerner).
