Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to provide timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The selected candidate will be responsible for adjusting imaging parameters to effectively study soft tissues, the arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, utilizing contrast media as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide MRI imaging services for inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Adjust imaging parameters based on the specific areas being studied.
- Collaborate with Radiologists to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
- Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and safety standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1.5 years of MRI experience required.
- ARRT and MR certification mandatory.
- BLS and CPR certifications required.
- Experience with GE and Siemens MRIs preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT is preferred but not required.
- Must maintain a state license as a general radiographer.
