Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Float Position
LocationWilliamsport, PA
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleThe shifts are 8 hours, scheduled any time between 0630-1700. This position requires evening call once per week, with rotating weekends approximately every 6 weeks.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer for a float position to support the entire North Central PA region. This role is vital in providing high-quality echocardiographic services in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on patients of all age groups, including pediatric patients.
- Provide emergency coverage for pediatric patients during on-call hours.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient echocardiograms and histories.
- Stay current with advances in echocardiographic technology and best practices.
- Must possess valid credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in pediatric cardiac sonography.
