Vascular Radiology Technician
Shift:Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vascular Radiology Technician to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Cath Lab Tech or IR Tech. Join us to make a difference in patient care!
Key Responsibilities:- Perform vascular radiology procedures and assist in complex interventions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Rotate call duties and weekends as needed by the unit, demonstrating flexibility in care delivery.
- Adhere to protocols while caring for COVID patients as required.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No time off is approved between Christmas and New Year's.
Schedule Requirements:- 5x8 hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Call rotation required, must live within a 30-minute response time.
- Willingness to stay longer if needed to care for the last patient.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Radiology Technician (consideration for candidates with less experience may be made).
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and CCI RCIS are required.
- Ability to perform various skills including, but not limited to, interpretation of dysrhythmias, angio procedures, and vascular closures.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines are required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- Local candidates will be considered within a 50-mile radius.
- Complete required modules prior to start.
