Job Description: Invasive Cardiology RN
Shift DetailsThis position offers two shift options:
- Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:00)
- Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:00)
Please note you will be required to work 2 of 3 major holidays, and no time off will be approved between Christmas and New Year’s.
Schedule Requirements- Day shift - Will work either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM
- Weekend and holidays as needed
- Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for
- Call may be required
The Invasive Cardiology unit consists of:
- 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
- 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
- 23 prep/recovery bays
This unit completes over 6,000 procedures annually and offers advanced cardiovascular treatments, including:
- Complex coronary procedures
- Ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO
- TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure
- Mitral valve clipping
- Complex atrial and ventricular ablations
- Pacemaker/ICD implant & explanation
- Cardioversion
- Pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation
- Pulmonary interventions and embolectomy procedures
Note: Could care for COVID patients. Tobacco and fragrance-free facility - please notify traveler prior to submission.
Qualifications- Minimum Experience: 2 years
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS (required)
- Experience: Epic charting system required
- RTO: Max 7 days
- Floating: As needed
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be offered at a lower rate
- No license hits are accepted
- Travel pairs are allowed, but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
- For OR Tech/CST, candidate must have NBSTSA certification
