Job Title: Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse
Shift DetailsShift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 AM - 02:00 PM)
Work Holidays: Will work 2 of 3 major holidays. No time off approved between Christmas and New Year's.
Schedule Requirements- Day shift - Will work either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM.
- Weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
- Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for.
- On-call duties may be required.
The Invasive Cardiology unit comprises:
- 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
- 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
- 29 prep/recovery bays
This unit performs over 6,000 procedures annually, offering advanced cardiovascular treatments such as:
- Complex coronary procedures
- Ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Left Atrial Appendage occlusion
- PFO/ASD closure
- Mitral valve clipping
- Pacer/ICD insertion and explantation
- Complex atrial and ventricular ablations
- Cord vascular interventions
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Epic experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates may care for COVID patients.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit. If clinical qualifications are met, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Interviews will be conducted by the manager.
