Are you a compassionate and proactive RN with a passion for maternal and newborn care? We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional support in our Labor and Delivery unit at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital in beautiful Georgetown, Texas. This 13-week contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring excellent patient outcomes while advancing your professional skills.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Valid RN license with current, unrestricted licensure
• Recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or well-baby nursery within the last year
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP (must be current)
• Experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum) processes, Cesarean sections, NICU or special care nursery preferred
• Proficiency with GE Centricity/CPN & Meditech EMRs
• Ability to handle high-risk situations with confidence and care
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude

Nice to Have:

• NICU or transitional baby catcher experience
• Experience with Level II NICU procedures
• Knowledge of cervical ripening, induction, MgSO4, insulin drips, and maternal high-risk management

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in labor and delivery or related units

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work 7:00PM – 7:00AM shifts during a 13-week contract
• On-call rotations approximately every other weekend
• Navy blue scrubs with a stork symbol required for travelers; local staff should adhere to dress code
• Successful completion of background check and compliance with hospital policies
