LDRP Unit. Patient Ratios – 1:2 at labor unless high risk, 1:4 couplets (8 patients individually) these are the MAX ratios we can have, ideally all couplets are 1:3 ratio
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Labor: cervical ripening, induction of labor (Pitocin), MgSO4, Insulin drip, high-risk/Level II Maternal patients followed by MFM, Mother-Baby Care on Postpartum, Infant/NSY Care (Special Care/Medium Risk), Level II NICU, C-Sections & Tubal ligations; cerclage removal, Care of fetal demise patients
2+ Years of recent L&D RN Experience
Active TX RN/ Compact License
