RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Emergency department nursing position requiring advanced emergency care skills
• Variable patient ratios depending on acuity and volume
• Self-scheduling system
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements
• May cross-train for sister facility (Medical City Frisco)
• Required certifications: Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Must have or obtain SAMA, CPI, or equivalent within 30-day grace period
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs (branded preferable)
• Work with standard emergency/trauma equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Handle certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and accredited burn cases
• Work alongside RNs, advanced paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries
• Ideal candidate has easy-going personality, flexibility, positive attitude, and ‘patient first‘ philosophy
