RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating weekends required
• No call requirements
• Must float to other units as needed per Methodist floating policy
• Assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring (swan-ganz catheters, arterial lines)
• Ventilator management experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
• IABP and CRRT exposure preferred
• Experience with Meditech charting/order entry preferred
• Handle post-CABG, post-VAD patients, and post-catheterization patients with various cardiac support devices
• Work with IABP, Impella, and ECMO equipment
• Navy scrub top and pants required, navy or white scrub jacket
• Must badge in/out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch
• Clock in time must be by 6:38 AM/PM (after 6:45 AM/PM considered tardy)
