Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

• Full-time position with 5-day work schedule

• On-call requirement from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, working 3 out of 6 weekends

• Must respond on-site within 30 minutes for call requirements

• Work with acute and critical patients in cardiac catheterization laboratory

• XPER/EPIC experience preferred

• May be required to work overtime with little or no notice

• Perform standard and complex cardiovascular diagnostic procedures

• Work directly with cardiologists to meet specific requirements of cardiac catheterization laboratory

• Coordinate daily activities of all CVT staff and assist with clinical policies and procedures

• Operate electronic monitoring equipment, angiographic equipment, and maintain physiologic and hemodynamic equipment

• Function as scrub technician for cardiac pacemakers/defibrillators and diagnostic/interventional procedures

• Maintain sterile technique and provide equipment and supplies in timely manner

• Minimum 3 years experience with cardiac catheterization procedures required

• Previous lead/supervisory experience in cardiac catheterization lab preferred

• Required certifications: MRT through Texas Medical Board and ARRT, RCIS or RCES registry, BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA only)

• High school graduate or equivalent plus graduate from approved radiological sciences program or cardiovascular technologist associate degree program required
