Operating Room Registered Nurse
LocationTraveling position; specific location details available upon inquiry.
Assignment DurationThis is a contract position for approximately 16 to 32 weeks.
Schedule / Shift12-hour rotating shifts with weekend availability required. Flexibility with schedule is essential, including a minimum of every other weekend and adjustments based on unit needs.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in circulating and scrubbing across various surgical specialties.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in the Operating Room setting.
- Assist with surgeries in specialties including ortho, URO, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma.
- Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room setting.
- Prior travel experience required.
- Experience in a large trauma level 1 facility is a must.
- Proficiency in EPIC software used within the past 2 years is required.
- Ability to circulate and scrub for surgeries; relevant skills checklists should be included in application materials.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
