LocationLocation: Based in a regional facility.
Assignment DurationThis is a 16 to 26-week contract position with an anticipated start date of November 17.
Schedule / ShiftShift: 10-hour Night shift with flexibility required for weekends and on-call duties. Travelers must be available to work 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking qualified candidates with extensive large trauma level 1 experience to join our team. Applicants must have strong skills in both circulating and scrubbing, particularly in specialties such as General OR, Orthopedics, Urology, Oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, General Surgery, ENT, Dental, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery, and Trauma.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include performing surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Two years of experience in the relevant unit.
- Prior travel experience is required.
- EPIC experience must be from within the past two years and is non-negotiable.
- Experience in both circulating and scrubbing required; please submit skills checklists with your application.
- BLS certification is necessary.
Please note that public transportation is not available in the area. Reliable personal or rental transportation is strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
