American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an adult home health assignment requiring at least 3 years of home health experience and prior travel assignments.
Responsibilities- Work in adult home health within the home health and hospice setting
- Typical caseload of 5-6 adult clients per day
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts, with weekend rotations
- Assignment length is 20 weeks
- No block schedules are permitted for any reason
- Candidates must be comfortable navigating multiple EMR systems
- Cannot accommodate 10-hour shifts
- Role involves independent client visits and managing a daily caseload
- Candidates must be flexible with holiday scheduling
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions begin on Mondays
- Weekend rotations are required
- No public transportation is available in the area
- Complete work history is required for consideration, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- This position is not open to candidates seeking block schedules
- Careful documentation of religious or medical exemption requests may be required
- Licensed Physical Therapist, license required if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years recent home health clinical experience required
- At least 2 prior travel assignments required
- Strong clinical and patient assessment skills required
- Fluency with various EMR systems required
- Candidates must have a personal or rental vehicle as public transportation is not accessible
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November to April
