Registered Nurse - Birthing Center
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Birthing Center. This position is a 12-hour night shift role, requiring availability to start within the next two weeks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care departments.
- Float between the Maternal Child Health and Emergency Departments as needed.
- Work a minimum of every other weekend.
- Utilize Epic for electronic medical records; familiarity with the platform within the last two years is required.
- Active RN License.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with exposure to med-surg and ED units preferred.
- Ability to provide explanations for any employment gaps over 90 days.
- Must have reliable transportation; public transport is not available in the area.
- All-season or snow tires are recommended for the vehicle from November to April.
- Contract Length: 28 weeks
- No block schedules will be accommodated.
- Guaranteed hours are provided.
