We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med-Surg Telemetry RN to join our dynamic healthcare team in Berlin, VT. This position requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit while collaborating effectively with all levels of staff.

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Perform NG tube insertion and peripheral IV insertion.
• Manage care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including post-operative, COPD, CHF, and others.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care.
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and procedures.
• Work closely with CNAs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals.

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing.
• Telemetry certification is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be completed prior to starting.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is essential.
• A reliable vehicle is preferred, as housing options may be 15 minutes away from the facility.

• 12-hour night shifts with a patient ratio of 4-6.
• Every other weekend commitment is required.
• No call requirements, but holiday coverage is necessary.

• Floating to like units may occur, but infrequently.

• Documentation will be done through the Epic system.
• Free onsite parking available.

The Med-Surg Telemetry unit caters to adult patients requiring telemonitoring for various medical and post-operative conditions.
