Job Description: Adaptive Acuity Unit Nurse

Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

This position is in an Adaptive Acuity Unit requiring skilled care for patients.

Position Requirements
  • Charge experience is required for this position.
  • Current Med-Surg/Tele experience of 2+ years is mandatory.
  • PCU experience is strongly preferred.
  • Drip experience is required.
  • ICU experience is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 months of previous travel experience is non-negotiable.
  • Traveler must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice.
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle.
Patient and Facility Details

Patient Ratio: 1:5-7

Number of Beds: 25

Orientation and Scheduling
  • Non-billable orientation: 0 hours
  • Block scheduling will not be considered.
  • RTO will not be considered for this need; all available time has already been reserved.
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required.
Certifications Required
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
License Requirements

Vermont state license is required.

Guaranteed Hours

36 hours per week, contract duration of 91 weeks.
