Registered Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) – Nights
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Major Holiday | On-Call: 1–2 Shifts Every 6 Weeks
Interview Type: Interview to Offer (ITO)
Local Radius Rule:No candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate LDRP RN to join our high-acuity Women's Health team. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment offering full-scope obstetric care—from triage to delivery, including operative and postpartum support. Candidates must be confident in circulating and capable of working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care throughout all phases of labor and delivery, including postpartum and surgical recovery.
  • Circulate in OB operating rooms; scrub experience is preferred but not required.
  • Perform comprehensive fetal and maternal assessments, including fetal monitoring.
  • Support patients undergoing vaginal delivery, cesarean section, versions, and cerclage procedures.
  • Collaborate with providers and support staff to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
  • Float as needed within the broader Women’s Health department.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Active RN license (State or Compact)
    • BLS and NRP required
    • ACLS preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of recent high-acuity Labor & Delivery experience
    • Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not necessary)
    • Circulating in OB OR required; scrub experience preferred
  • EKG Exam not required

  • Unit Composition:
    • 11 Labor Rooms
    • 2 OB Operating Rooms
    • 3 OB Emergency Department (Triage) Rooms
    • 2 OB Procedure Rooms
    • 12-bed Antepartum/Women’s OBGYN Unit
  • Staffing: 3 RNs + 1 Tech per shift
  • Monthly Volume: Approx. 200 deliveries
  • Equipment Used: GE Monitors, Infant Warmers, Pulse Oximetry, Blood Glucose Monitors
  • Skill Sets Needed: Fetal or cardiac monitoring, perinatal procedures
