General InformationThis Med-Surg unit focuses on the care of post-operative patients and requires dedicated RNs who are equipped to handle a fast-paced environment. Nurses will be responsible for maintaining patient care, including dressing changes, wound care, and drain management.
Staffing Information- Day Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
- Night Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 2 Techs
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Baxter IV Pumps
- Medfusion Pumps
- SCDs
- EMR: Meditech
Must-Have Skills:
- BLS certification
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with post-operative patients
- Competence in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong patient advocate
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
