Patient Population Level II NICU Unstable newborns ≥32 weeks gestation Couplet Care Transition Nursery GYN surgery patients Attends all deliveries and high-risk deliveries ? Common Procedures & Responsibilities Resuscitation/Support at Birth CPAP / BiPAP Chest tube setup and care Breathing treatments PICC and central line management Syringe pumps Feeding tubes Sedation & RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation) Cooling/Warming blankets Drains ? Staffing RN-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3 Support Team Includes: Charge nurse (may take assignment) 24/7 NNP OB 24/7 (in-house or on-call) Anesthesiologist 24/7 RT, phlebotomy, no tele tech No unit secretary ?
