Position Overview: Lourdes Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity emergency settings and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response and resuscitation efforts as needed
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Washington State (or compact license)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
