ScheduleDay shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with 12-hour on-call responsibilities weekly and 24-hour call one weekend day per month. One holiday cover may be required.
Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic operating room team responsible for delivering high-quality surgical care. The unit performs an average of 28 cases daily, focusing on diverse surgical specialties, excluding open-heart procedures. Technicians are tasked with turning over rooms and assisting with all surgical cases, while registered nurses may be required to circulate cases as needed.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
- Assist with surgical procedures as required.
- Respond to on-call requirements promptly, maintaining a 20-minute response time.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards at all times.
- 2-3 years of experience in the specialty.
- Completion of 2-3 previous travel assignments.
- Certifications:
- Registered Nurses: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- Operating Room Technicians: BLS required; CST preferred.
- Ortho/Neuro experience is highly preferred.
