Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab RN to join our team. This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac cath lab setting, along with the necessary certifications and skills to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including endovascular peripheral interventions.
• Perform and monitor cardiac catheterizations and related procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer conscious sedation and maintain hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures.
• Operate specialized equipment and maintain a sterile field in accordance with established standards.
• Respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and provide necessary interventions.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (or compact license).
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath lab.
• Experience with equipment such as Siemens PACS and involvement in procedures like Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.

Call Requirements

On-call responsibilities consist of one weekday and one weekend every 4–6 weeks, including holidays.

• Balloon Pumps and Impella device management
