Job Opportunity: Night Shift MedSurg Nurse
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled MedSurg Nurse to join our team for a 12-hour night shift position. This role involves working weekends as scheduled in a dynamic medical stroke unit.
Unit Details- Unit: 5N - MedSurg Medical Stroke
- Cost Center: 13
- Census: Daily between 26-28 patients
- PCT: 5-6 patients per nurse
- Patient Conditions: COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, surgical overflow (including thyroidectomy)
- Experience with stroke patients highly preferred; NIHSS certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system is preferred.
- Must submit an unexpired copy of the candidate's driver's license.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility are essential.
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 91 weeks
- Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks.
